A Declaration of Interdependence is a global-participatory film that reimagines the Declaration of Independence as a Declaration of Interdependence instead. With music by Moby, this 4 min film is an exhilarating global mash-up of user-generated videos and graphics, demonstrating the vast potential of creative collaboration in the 21st century.
A Declaration of Interdependence was volunteer translated into 75 languages (click on the CC icon to see).
This was the first of what we call "Cloud Films," where we make films collaboratively with people all over the globe. We went on to make several more "Cloud Films" with people all over the globe.

GET A CUSTOMIZED FILM
When we launched A Declaration of Interdependence, we offered free customized versions of the film to nonprofits around the globe. We'd put their logo and their message at the end, and it would look like it was their film, that they could use in many ways (fundraising, kicking off an event, social, spreading an important message). We made thousands of these free films for amazing organizations. We no longer have the grant to do these for free, but we do still make them -- for companies, organizations, and schools.
